Goldshire Jewelers was founded in 1996 when the firm took over Joseph Wiltshire & Son Ltd, which had been trading for over 100 years and was one of the oldest jewelers and pawnbrokers in the country. Joseph Wiltshire was renowned for his emphasis on the highest levels of customer service, so much so, that when Goldshires took over Joseph remained with them for 2 years so that he could ensure that all of our experts had the highest level of product knowledge and customer service skills.

In 2004 Goldshire Jewelers relocated from the Market Place in Great Bridge, to a more convenient and busier area of the town. During the relocation, the original shop fittings was removed by the Black Country Museum, which had built a replica shop in the museum grounds and used the fittings to furnish the shop and preserve them for the Nation.
